GB Sound - North London Recording Studio - is a purpose built intimate and friendly recording studio specialising in Solo Artists, Bands, Voice-Overs Mixing & Mastering.

The equipment is "Industry Standard" Protools HD with an impressive array of classy Mics, great Mic Pres and a Valve mixing desk. The Music studio is in the basement of an office block in Barnet, North London just inside the M25.The Studio is in New Barnet on the corner of Lytton Road & East Barnet road


There is a big Live room with a Yamaha Custom Maple drum kit! There is also a Vocal Booth for pristine vocals and a large air-conditioned Control room. Gavin the producer is a multi-instrumentalist so he can add Guitar, Bass, Keyboards, Mandolin, Violin and Drums to your track.

As well as Songs, Instrumentals and Music for Adverts we regularly record Voice-overs for Film, Radio and Talking Books etc. We have a very dry vocal booth with an industry standard Neumann U87 for vocals and Voice-overs

Being a songwriter himself Gavin can help you craft your song into a classy Demo or Master. He also has a background in TV post production sound.

You will leave the studio with your mixed track on a CD and with an MP3 file that you can use on the net!
